Bush Bubs!
Our nature playgroup is back for Term 4! Scroll down to reserve your spot and come play!
What is ‘Bush Bubs’?
Bush Bubs is a 1.5 hour, come and go as you please, playgroup for little ones aged 0-3 and their caregivers. Each session is $18 and a booking is inclusive of one family; siblings, grandparents, aunties, etc. are welcome to come along. You can join us casually or for the entire term.
Bush Bubs has been designed to be a child-led nature-immersion program, which means the program evolves and grows as the children explore their interests, skills, and passions in the bush.
Like nature, we believe in rhythm over routine. Our Guides may facilitate 'offerings' throughout the sessions including stories, music, and crafts however we encourage you to follow your chilld’s lead.
Respecting the children's autonomy is a key value here at Wild Wattle. Children in our program will always have the right to make their own choices, decisions, and mistakes.
We have three rules: be kind, be safe, be wild. That's it!

Our sessions are relaxed and operate on a 'come and go as you please' basis. Caregivers can park anywhere, just be mindful not to block anyone in. We’ll have signs posted to guide you to the meeting point, which is only about a minute’s walk from the picnic tables.
The arrival area is conveniently located next to the washrooms, water sink, and shelter, making it a perfect time to use the bathroom, change bub, or refill your water bottle.
-
Our program offers children endless opportunities to engage in nature-based fun. This could include: making mud pies, building shelters, finding and identifying bugs and birds, or just about anything else they can imagine!
-
Bring snacks! Exploring is hard work. The children are welcome to have snacks throughout the session. If you have little ones using the toilet, they are welcome to go throughout he session with your supervision to our toilet block (or have a quick bush wee). Babies are welcome to be changed wherever you (and they) are most comfortable.

We are an all-weather playgroup. Which means we very well may have some rainy days ahead of us! On rainy days, we do erect a marquee shelter however, we truly believe there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. So dress yourself, and our bub, for the mountain climate!
